I had no idea when I started the drought in this book that Texas was actually going to suffer through the worst drought it has been through in years. It was the strangest feeling to we in the middle of writing this book as we went deeper and deeper into the drought. Here on our small ranch we have twenty ponds and a large lake…and all of our ponds went completely dry! It was hard. All around us folks were being forced to sell their cattle because they had run out of water. It was a really hard situation…and of course I put my characters in HER LONE STAR COWBOY right in the middle of their own situation. Jess Holden and his brothers have gone into business together and bought this ranch that they are hoping to create as a legacy for their kids–when and if they have some. But the Texas drought is threatening their dream…I hope you'll pick up a copy of the book at bookstores now, Walmart, Barns and Noble etc…and online bookstores Christianbooks.com, amazon.com etc also in ebooks.
