I was so excited to win the National Readers Choice Award (NRCA) with my historical novella AN EVER AFTER SUMMER. The award is a very respected award and I won in the novella category. Other winners included the amazing Brenda Novak and Jodi Thomas–both New York Times Bestselling authors won their first NRCA too. Other well known finalist were Carly Phillips. I'm always humbled and amazed just to be nominated for an award as there are so many fantastic and amazing books out there that just to be a finalist is a blessing. Okay, I've got to go write.
