    About “Yuletide Cowboy”:
Taking time off from being a rodeo preacher, Chance Turner returns to Mule Hollow for some solitude. Quiet, however, is in short supply as the town matchmakers work to pair him up with Lynn Perry. Making a new life for herself and her sons after escaping an abusive marriage, Lynn is no more interested in a relationship with Chance than he with her. However, kindly matchmakers, determined cousins, mischievous little boys and the strong attraction Lynn and Chance feel for one another may be their downfall. This return to Mule Hollow, Texas, has two main characters struggling to accept God’s will for their lives and His emotional healing. Familiar faces give this story a homey feeling.

Books, Contest and RWA California what fun.

Hi Y’all, Goodness, it has been a busy few  weeks! This is a photo of me with Chuck at the 2012 Rita Awards! We had such a great time. My good friends Irene Hannon, Linda Goodnight and Marta Perry were all up for the Rita in the Inspirational catagory.

News!!!! HER HOMECOMING COWBOY is on shelves NOW :) Her Homecoming Cowboy This is the 3rd book in the series and if you sign up for my newsletter you get the chance to win the first two book of this series–HER RODEO COWBOY and HER LONE STAR COWBOY. I’d love it if you’ve read any of my books if you’d take the time to run over to Amazon and leave reviews or cbd.com

The series is doing wonderful and I’m so thankful for that. I owe that to you, my readers you are some really awesome people and I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

I’ve been busy over the last few months, finishing HER UNFORGETABLE COWBOY, the first story of the new Sunrise Ranch series, and making new friends with all the new characters who will populate the series. I will honestly say it was a hard thing for me to do, not writing about Norma Sue and Esther Mae and Adela and the rest of the Mule Hollow gang but when I finally finished the story I loved the new cast of characters. Don’t worry Mule Hollow is not done-you will see them again :) but I do hope you all will look forward to March 2013 when I introduce the new series.

I’m working hard now on my new 1800 mail order bride novella for the anthology collection A BRIDE FOR ALL SEASONS with Margaret Brownley, Mary Conneally and Robin Lee Hatcher. This is a photo of me and Margaret at the RWA Literacy Signing in Anaheim. She is just a lovely lady! I’m having a blast working on the novella–suffering too :) –as I whip Ellie and Mathew into shape. These two love to give me trouble they are so stubborn…but Ellie has dreams and I’m determined to make them come true in A SUMMERTIME BRIDE. Watch for this in the summer of 2013.

At RWA I met with my editor from Thomas Nelson Publishing, Ami McConnell and they are very excited about this project and have all kinds of neat things planned for it. I’m thrilled and excited…now to just finish writing it and make sure its a fun and fantastic book to make y’all smile :)

NOW, I went to RWA in California and had a wonderful time traveling with my husband across the Imperial Valley and then on into LA and Anaheim to the conference. Met with my editors, my agent, amazon, and tons of writing friends. Went to the Harlequin party and had a great time hanging with the Love Inspired gals.

Enjoy a good book with interesting characters and a plot that keeps me quessing to the end of the book. But most important is a feel good feeling after reading the book. Looking forward to reading your book.
